A Perfect Day

On a warm automn sunday afternoon, the rays of the sun highlight the colors of the mid-season treeline, One has never seen Paris like this before, her beauty shimmering.

In the near distance the vision of Les Pont des Arts, the wooden structure of seven miniature archways frequented by the new and old.

Strollers walk and roll along the seine, while the sun gatherers sit, bathing in the softness of the sun.

The temperate quietness and tranquility of this automn day is perfect.

Accents
Accents, I never knew I had such a weakness. I never knew the sounds of words could lead to a fetishizing adventure. From the Irish to our neighbours down under, the english language has never been so rich and beautiful. The sharp wittiness and unique pronounciation gets me everytime. How these accents came to, is straight out intriguing, but something not easily comprehended is how they turned out to be provocatively attracting. Vocal sexiness is a killer.

Being here, I’ve come to realize that the general north american accent is quite plain, and when it comes to the extreme fetishizing fantasy of accenthood the british ladies come on top. They may not be everyone’s cup of tea no punt intended, but I have to admit, they got me mysteriously by the ears. The Brits, and their lovely way of speaking could be maddening for a bloke like me. The unfamiliarity of oddly sounding words dabbed with refinery is tremendously knee-breaking. We speak the same language, and at times, it is completely foreign to me. I could sit myself down and not understand a lip of it and still be pleasantly happy, puzzled look and all.

Words regularly not heard by my ears bring confusing smiles and pleasurable opportunities for cultural exchanges. Bollocks, muppet, dodgy, tatty, naff and cheeky are a few of the abundant floating around. Unfamiliarity combined with an english tongue I have discovered in my own words is ‘one hell of an attraction’ and it’s truly a fetishizing relevation.
